Whats up y’all. I have a question about wire wheels. I have a 2 door 64 Oldsmobile that I want to lower and put wire wheels on here very soon. I’m new to lowriding and this would be my first lowrider so I don’t really know what fits and I don’t wanna buy the set I’m looking at just to find out they don’t fit. I wanna put on 14x7 72 spoke wheels but I don’t know if the 7 inch wide rim will be to wide to clear my rear quarter panel. I wanna run a 185-75-14 tire because I want a little more meat on them than a 175-75-14. I read alot in these forums and now know real lowrider guys use 13s and 155s or 175s but I want the bigger wheel for the look and wider tire to make up for the loss between my tire and wheel well because it’s not lowered yet. Just curious if a 14x7 would fit fine with no issues or should I get a 14x6. And by the way the car is a 1964 jetstar 88. Thanks in advance.
