I’m new to this form and I was wondering if you could tell me what you used for the deep dish part of the wire rims on your B Switched 67 RC. I have made one wire wheel thus far by removing the front dish and back dish of a Pegasus RC wire wheel and sandwiching the wires between the original rim which I cut in half and removed some plastic in the middle to make room for the wires. I’m using the original front deep dish from Radioshack (the one that came with the 64 imp) which is not that deep at all. The ones on your 67 look much deeper. Also the tires you are using look much better because they have that stretched to fit the rim look just like the real thing. Just wondering if you could share your info. Thanks and keep up modding.

I'm talking about making wire wheels for the Radio Controled Lowrider from Radioshack The 67, 64 Impala and the 69 El Camino all come with a strange size wheel. And I didn't use the normal Pegasus model rims I used the ones made for Radio controled cars which are much to big for the Radioshack cars. I have tried looking for somthing pre made and found nothing which works so that is why I am building the rims from parts.

Here are some links to show what I am talking about.

I guess I will just stick with the rims I made

Good to hear your making your own set!

My dish is indeed deeper because I used 2 radio shack wheels per wire wheel....I glued them on top of eachother.
the cups I used in my wheel deal story are PVC cups which can be found at the plumbing section same goes for the wheels they are pipe convertors...from PVC to metal. You have to cut the rubber wall on the back, also to make em less wide.
The white wall I cut with a circle cutter out of white PVC adhesive foil can be bought per meter on a roll at an art supply store.

Hope this will answer your questions!
let me see the final result will ya? ;)

Thank you very much I just couldn't figure every thing you did from just looking at the photos.

Stumbled across this site of yours and it only shows me images, nothing more. http://www.e-zone.nl/jevries/
Is this right? Or do you have another site which also shows text along with photos

Thanks again
