I liked the topic that was started weeks ago about the car lift and stuff like that.

I did 2 forklift fabrication jobs recently

1 was taking an old 1960's clark forklift with a 10 foot lift.

Fabing up brackets and hinges to put a 3 stage mast from a 1990's nissan for 25 feet of lift

MADE MY OWN CUSTOM HYDRAULIC SAFETY VALVE. IMPROVING THAT OLD 60'S CRAP.

If a lift hose were to break with the forks in the air this is a custom shut off valve that automaticly pops a check valve and stops flow if it sees no pressure.

Post up your recent projects for hydraulics and welding etc :)

camera date isnt set yet

New forklift truck

Need the roof lowered 3 1/2 inches cause it wont fit so I made a new roof,

Lowered the seat

Re did all the light assem.

Lets cut

Overhead guard cut off

Had to drill a ton of holes through 1/4 inch plates so I clamped all of them in the bridgeport drilled them all at once!

This is the layout of the 1/4 inch plates and the 5/8 round stock

Took about an hour to weld the new guard, Figured out how to use the timer on the camera

Welded on the truck

I like the flat roof better
