I finally have my full setup. just got a set of 8" cylinders all around. Does anyone have pictures of their car or any car with 8's in the rear?? Would like to see how high it looks?? Thanks.

Please don't tell me to get any other size because I am not reinforcing and I'm only going to be doing lay and play and I got these real cheap.

Thanks again.

everyone should be able to post with 8 in the back, just raise it up 8" :cheesy:

if you have 6" cylinders in the front the front travel is actually more like 8" because of where the cylinder moves the suspension. The cylinder moves 6 but farther out by the wheel the suspension moves 8. Its like small lift kits for trucks with coil over struts, they put a 1.5" spacer above the strut and it gives the suspension a total 2.5" lift

u askin me?
yeah, thats 6" front and 8" rear, but yes the front lifts more cause its pushing the arm so it makes it look like a lager cylinder. but 6 is as large as i could put there cause of the spring height that i have. it goes as low as possible, and as high as possible without modifying the arms.

sounds good, I like higher but I'm not going to be reinforcing, so i'm going to make do with my 8's until i can get a second car and reinforce my lincoln.....

I would want to see more cars with 8's all around or in the rear

MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION, BUT DO 8" STROKES IN THE FRONT GIVE YOU A HIGHER LOCK-UP THAN 6"? OR IS IT ABOUT THE SAME? I KNOW ON 8's, THE SHAFT AINT GONNA COME OUT BUT SO MUCH

its the same, the pivoting motion of the a-arm is restricted by the frame.
