YOU GET RID OF THE PANHARDBAR
(THATS THE THING CAUSING THE REAR AXLE TO TRAVEL SIDEWAYS)
THEN YOU GET A SLIP SHAFT WITH A REAL LONG SPLINCE TRAVEL. IF YOU CLICK MY SIGNATURE LINKS YOU CAN SEE HOW I`VE DONE IT WITH 20" STROKES IN THE BACK...

Hey Badass, I checked out the instructional pics of the slingshot and I just don't understand how it works. It looks like it'd push the rear end housing down as the car lifts...
YEAH THATS THE POINT WITH IT, (ONE OF EM AT LEAST)
IT STEERS THE PINION UPWARDS THE TRANNY WHEN LOCKIN' UP SO THAT YOU CAN DRIVE THE CAR ALL LOCKED UP...

Okay badass, what I'm saying is, it looks as if when you lock the rear up its gonna push the top of the rear-end housing down towards the ground, away from the tranny.
If I could figure this out I'd try it...
IT STEERS THE BACKSIDE OF THE AXLE DOWN TOWARDS THE GROUND SO THE PINION IS POINTING UPWARD FACING THE TRANNY... THATS THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT ALL LOCKED UP LIKE THAT.
