·HOW DO I PUT 18" CYLINDERS TO WORK ON MY 1965 CHEVY IMPALA 4 DOOR WITHOUT PUSHING MY ENGINE AND TRANS TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND KICKING THE REAR END TO THE SIDE UNDER THE CAR ? HELP

just take out the panhard bar and add to what is there and
create a 4 link...

IT STEERS THE BACKSIDE OF THE AXLE DOWN TOWARDS THE GROUND SO THE PINION IS POINTING UPWARD FACING THE TRANNY... THATS THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT ALL LOCKED UP LIKE THAT.Originally posted by dreday@Oct 4 2003, 12:50 AM
Okay badass, what I'm saying is, it looks as if when you lock the rear up its gonna push the top of the rear-end housing down towards the ground, away from the tranny.
If I could figure this out I'd try it...
