the relief valves are adjustable but you have to play with it to set it to when you want them to work. there aren't any settings on the valve to guarantee a certain psi. you could use a psi guage inline to find out though.
what you could do is set it to open when you have a runnaway pump to give you enough time to get to the quick disconnect.
i was playing with it before to where i could hold the switch on 24 volts and the fluid would just circulate until the motor got hot...then i stopped. :uh:
i don't think that you would be able to buy much time if you have more than 48 volts running but i haven't tried it.
