how can i remove paint off a model that has ppg paint and clear?? any liquid? some guy told me to use brake fluid
Yeah, Castrol Superclean or Purple Power is the best/safest. I once put a body in a tub of Castrol Superclean and forgot about it for 4 months! No damage to the plastic at all.Originally posted by BigPoppa@Jan 2 2009, 05:02 PM~12586946
I use Purple Power or Castrol Superclean (automotive degreaser) is the safest on plastic if you want to soak it for a while. Easy off is next, don't let it dry though or it will be tough to scrub. I don't think you can soak in brake fluid for too long, might attack the plastic. Be real careful with colored plastics, they can get brittle
