I was just wondering is there anything to do to cheap wheels before you install them to keep them from rusting?

I had some 14x7 luxor gryphons thaT looked nice, but after a season in the bad weather and too much time sokaing the neighbors dog pisss, that stuff rusted BAD in some spots. alot of the spokes, and then spots on the rim too.

It made me mad,( and it still does today when i walk outside and see cat prints on the hood of my truck)

I was just wondering couln't you protect the wheels some how?

what if you sprayed them wheels down peice by peice with clear coat before they were put together
thats protect shit from rusting the chrome, but how would it look, or would it even stick?

its just pretty hard to own a nice vehicle down in the 4 season states.
at least they dont use alot of road salt here like up north

1.YOU CAN POWDER COAT THEM WITH A CLEAR POWDER COAT AND YOU WON'T EVEN KNOW IT ON THERE.
2.YOU CAN SPRAY A LITTLE WD40 ON A RAG AND WIPE THE RIMS DOWN.
3. PUT SOME WAX ON THE RIMS WHEN YOU CLEAN THE CAR.

4. THE BEST IS TO SHOOT EVERY CAT AND DOG THAT GETS NEAR YOUR RIDE!!!!!!!!!
