Here's my dilema...

The ac seized up and it sucks ass. I don't have the use of the front defroster, which I need a lot now cause I have a morning class. Also just n case cause it's coming to the rainy season. I didn't mind with the Dak cause I could still defrost the front. With this Blazer I can't. The factory ac is connected to the defroster...

So do I sacrifice the a/c and do without the defrost (or if there is a way to have some kind of fan or somehting in there to defrost the front PLEASE let me know), or replace/rebuild it?

my hearse the defrost died for some fuckin reason one day so i know exactly what ur talkin about. id be a little ghetto but seems like it would work. get one of those 12v cig lighter style heaters. put it on ur dash pointing at the window. has heat and and a fan so seems like it would work to defronts and heat the window.

well the visor one caught my eye

you could get 2, 1 for each visor then when u want them on flip ur visors down so they point at the windshield.

but then again those are only 100 watt ones

this ones seems like it has nice specs and can also be visor mounted

id prob get the 2nd one dont look bulky and seems like itd work alright. just put it on ur dash in the center then run ur cable hidden and hardwire to a switch. just keep that bitch there all year and turn on as needed

HOMEBOY YOU LIVE IN CALI YOU NEED AC!

Back in the day I used to use 1 of those cheap heaters to warm up my valves in my trunk lol.
Hooked it up 2 a relay and just used 2 flick it on when they froze. Thats SMC valves for ya in negative 20 degree temps.

Lol, yeah that's true. Could you hook it up with a wiring diagram of how you fabbed the heater? I seen one on that site that is 3 in one. Defrost/Heater/Fan.

thinking about getting this one since I'm doing away with the a/c also the heater I have now doesn't work right either so might as well get this one.

be able to have a breeze or two in the ride as well as a heater. Don't know where to put it though. :( Don't like the heat all up in my face. Kind of want it to but under the dash somewhere, but can't defrost then. I'm buying a top console soon wondering if it'll work the well if I mount it on that.

what do you mean, "your a/c is siezed". is your compressor locked up? if so just, disconnect the wiring connectors to your compressor, your defrost should still work. the compressor only kicks on to help keep moisture from collecting in the airbox.

unplugged the comp and it still blows out air. Bad thing is, I still only have cool air coming out. Heater doesn't heat, so I'm gonna get me that heater anyhow.
