HEY EVERYBODY! I WANT TO RUN SHOCKS IN THE REAR OF MY 69 OLDS 88. I FIGURE THE FRONT I WOULD INSTALL SHOCKS LIKE THEY ARE ON A 79 CHEVY PICK-UP. NOW THE REAR I DON'T KNOW. I HAVE A COIL OVER SETUP WITH 8" CYLINDERS. I'M THINKING STOCK SHOCK MOUNT LOCATIONS MAY NOT WORK. IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY BREAK SHOCK FROM EITHER RAISING OR LOWERING. ALSO ANY PARTICULAR BRAND/TYPE SHOCKS ARE SUGGESTED. THANX FOR ANY INFO YOU CAN SUGGEST!!!!!! ;)  :cheesy: :)

Check w/ ProHopper, Hi-Low, & Showtime. They all sell shocks that go with hydros. That way you ain't gotta spend an hour explaining to the AutoZone geek why you need a shock that could fit a monster truck to fit an Olds 88.

ANY REAR SHOCK FROM A 2000 MODEL CHEVY DUALLY OR Z-71 WILL WORK GREAT.
