i know this question has been asked time and time again...

i'm going to use angle iron for my battery/pump rack... what size (thickness, width) do you guys recommend.

Folks usually use 2x2x1/8" angle iron-Build your "subframe" out of 2x2 square tube steel though-peace

aahhh.. see i usually build the rack out of 2x2x1/4" angle iron, but for the box i weld it to i use 2x2 solid square stock kinda like you mentioned... that way i can get my car to sit up on the bumper like that ls from street riders :thumbsup:

I usually use 2 x 2 3/16 box on the bottom, and 3/16 angle on the the top for a basic setup, bump up to 1/4 when I need to, once I filled a rack from one side to the other with 2 sq solid :uh:
