i was at the slot car track on saturday night when they had the drags running, i seen alot of slot car dragsters that had hard plastic model car bodies on em.
pretty cool.

anyone on here run slot cars or into them?

Not 100% on the kind...I know I spent over 80 bucks on the car and parts.

I'll have to find the pics. It has a F-1 body on it now and comes with a porche body and a blown camaro body as well...all the stock parts plus an extra chassis and more hop up parts.

I bought a 1/25 bubble Caprice cop car dragster, came with a siren rigged on. But I only ran it once, I can't find a friggin track anywhere!! The one time I ran it was just for kicks in a oval track just to see if it worked

yeah i know what u mean,

6 years ago their used to be like 3 good size decent slot car shops in a 5 mile radious, now that i got serious into it theirs only 1 left, unless u wanna drive a hour on the freeway.

the on i go to is in buena park,its a well know place.

damm can't beleive not many people are into slot cars.

i build a model on what i like,build a chasis ad a motor and a few other parts and everyone gets to see it race on the track.

its pretty fun.

i'm workin on a 56 corvette dragster right now,i'll post pics when i finish it.

lol in my old grade 12 tech class all we did was fuckin race these things...my teacher was obsessed with slot cars and he even built a "king size" track with 10 lanes as a class project...i had a 16d, group10, and group 12 cars...damn those group 12's fly. once i graduated i just sold all my shit to younger kids going into the class.

well heres a pic of my 57 corvette,i just finished yesterday,
scracth built the chassis,added a s16 motor,a few hopp ups,some paint(wich could of been better)
put it together and ran in the bracket class.

the merc in the back ground is a feature slot car i'm building a chasis for and i have a old altered dragster i'm workin on.
i'll keep u posted

i'm workin on, still need a few parts for the chassis,should be done by friday.
i chopped it and color primered it my self.

a 41 willies i just started today,this will also be a slot car dragster.

i still have to scratch build the chasis,finish the chrome and paint,
and pick up a good motor c can or cobalt ,still not sure.
but i do want it to haul ass.

the only racers i have are the 57 funny car and the corvette,that are reday to race on the drag strip,
still have to finish the willies and teh 49 merc.


as far as the winged racers or the ones that run on the enduro tracks.
i haven't got their yet. :biggrin:

i do plan on givin it a shot.
