i plan to pick up a soidering gun,(spell check) in the next few days.
not sure on what kind to buy or what to buy.

i plan on using it for model hydrualic chasis,and pro stock slot car drag chasis as well,and of course wirinng.

let me know wich brand or what models u recommend.

i wouldn't get a "gun" type..get an iron. sharper point for those tiny connections on motors and switches.
:thumbsup: I got my iron at radio shack, i think it was 15 bucks it came with a stand, a heatsink, solder, and a few other little bits. Great deal, i havent had to replace my point yet but i might soon.

yea, that's what i use..15/30 watt, you dont need anything major..a basic iron will do just fine.

Thats pretty much all i use it for. I guess you could like fix jewlery or some shit with it if you were good at it.
