i had to use 2 5/16 spacers on each side on my car to get my Ds on without hittin the caliper on the front. i dont feel to comforable with it . is it unsafe to have 2 spacers on each wheel?

with one spacer you will be fine just one instead of two for each side sporting
10/16 each side then and you'll be fine.

You can try using et lug nuts with the spacers to get in more threads on the studs.
