Now should you move the lower A arm pockets out towards the outside of the car to go along with the split or shrink?

I don't understand why everyone leaves them caved in like that. If you welded a piece over the split then plated the front and back of the engine cradle and made the bottom flat again before putting the whole plate on the bottom it would be stronger. The frame is going to be weakest in the middle since there is less vertical surface to prevent flexing. Just my humble opinion.

that must mess up your body mounts re aligning them i would rather modify the lower arm than a frame thats my 2 cents :biggrin:

I'm doing alot of blacksmith work right now, torch anvil and a giant sledge hammer.

It's fucking amazing what you can do with those thing's.
Sculpturing metal never been so much fun.

I'm all over angle grinders and mig welders. :biggrin:

What about body mounts?
Should you just make the hole a bit bigger or move to the side?

Speak on what you know. If the split is done right, EVERYTHING lines up and you CAN NOT get the same effect by altering the arms. :twak:
