I BOUGHT MY CAR A FEW WEEKS BACK, AND THE PERSON I BOUGHT IT FROM HAS THE UPPER A ARMS EXTENDED. GREAT! BUT THERES ONLY ONE PROBLEM. FOR ME TO RIDE SO THE TIRES ARE FLAT I BOTTOM OUT ON ANY DECENT BUMP. IT REALLY HAPPEND TO ME BAD THE OTHER DAY ON MY WAY TO WORK. I WAS RIDING WITH THE TIRES FLAT (RIDE HEIGHT), WHICH IS LOW AND I HIT BUMP THE BOUNCED MY WHOLE FRONT, WHEN IT CAME DOWN MY CROSS MEMBER COUGHT A LIP IN THE PAVMENT AND RIPPED THE 2 BARS THAT CONNECT BELOW MY RADIATOR TO MY CROSS MEMBER. SO MY REAL QUESTION IS BY PUTTING A HEAVEIR SPRING IN, WILL THAT HELP ME OUT AND IF SO HOW MANY TONS.
ALL HELP APPRICIATED
THANKS

that happened to me with my old springs in my cutty, i had 3 1/2 tons, with 4 turns. they would smack crossmember just like you described.
i just recently picked up some new 3 1/2 tons and there's about 5 1/2 turns on the coil, and they sit nice now. you gota break em in though, or it'll look like your locked up 24/7
