ok, sup everybody, i have been so eager to get a bike,
i've looked at different models and loads of stuff,
and have found my path. i am getting a 26 inch beach cruiser.
basically, next summer i'll be having a lowrider bike,
but i just want a cool bike for now. i need sum help.
ok, this is the bike i'm getting:
http://www.biltema.se/products/productimag...p?iItemId=93867
yosemite bike, shitty quality, i know, i have had one before.
that one was a whole other story.
but now i'm getting a new one, and i wanna customize it.
the good thing bout it is it's $90,
and i can walk to the store from here and get one.
there will be a tank job, can't ride with that stock fake ass tank.
and also i'm gonna lower it. just putting a slightly bent fork on it,
and that is where my questions are,
does anybody have a 26" fork for sale? any type springer fork.
and i'm afraid the crank will be too low for the bike to be rideable?
anybody have knowledge with this stuff, what fork should i get?
can anybody judge from the pic what'll happen with what fork?
may i need to get a shorter crank?
thats all, i think.
thanks, E.

If you get a straight springer the crank on it should be fine if you get a bent springer i would sudgest a 5.5" or 5" crank, thats what i have on mine.

jep - with a bent fork you'll need a shorter crank. With a straight fork it's all good. You can even take the spring out of the straight fork to lower the bike and still be able to ride it without scraping the pedals all the time. Go for it and post pics of the progress. ;)

btw: where in Sweden you're at?

Emillion - kinda the middle? That's rather hard to tell. ;) ..... been to Trelleborg, Malmo, Kungjälv, Goteborg, Lilla Edith, Udevalla and finally Backamo (A-Bombers OldStyle Weekend) this summer. Went there by bike (stretch cruiser). It's been a blast. Would love to come up there again - it just a five hours ferry cruise from where I live to Trelleborg.
Maybe there's a cruise in Stockholm next year - I'll mos def be there.

Cheers!
