Hello Guys

.... but I've hit a problem with the steering. When the frame was wrapped with 6mm steel everything was done, including the engine cross member. The original holes were put back in the normal places, so that the steering box could be bolted up as per factory. BUT when we tried to fit the drag link and ther steering arms, they now foul the reinforced cross member. I considered changing it to a rack and pinion but the cost to import the kit to the UK is ridiculous.

I have heard that there could be other steering arms or mods that I could do to stop them hitting the cross member. Can anyone out there offer some help? I'm pretty stuck on this. Here's the pics:

Thats been normal on every wrapped X frame that i have had...it would just rub the powder coat in that one spot....i just let it rub thats just part of having a wrapped frame....it never did anything but just rub... some people cut the lip off to help but it will still rub the center part a lil bit...good luck
