okay my steering colum broke off at the point were the tilt is located. so i have all the igniton wires just hanging out where my sterring column used to be. the casing like shatered.

its on a 1979 monte carlo
i also have a 82 cutlass

do u think i could swap them?

fuck know

i was putting a new steering wheel on ( a grant wheel )

with a steering wheel bolt puller and the fucking metal casing shatered right at the tilting part of the column!

thats sucks for real but if it were me i would order a new one from jegs.com or summit.com they have new ones that you can get in chrome or painted for about $300 and they look clean as fuck got everything you need to do it...check it out...

shouldnt be that hard, my steering colum in my truck slipped so i ripped it out,went to a junk yard and picked up an even better condisioned one. took me about 30 to take out the old one and put in the new one. might wanna wear gloves tho incase some of the nuts might be torqed on and you might slip and bust ur knuckles up like i did

you got lucky, watch out doe, you stil gotta put the new one in. and you know what always happens when you speak too soon :uh:
