I was wondering if one of my el cheapo 12v chrome compressors would actually suffice as a vacuum pump instead of an air compressor? any idea of how much vacuum i could create?

Best way is to get a vacuum gauge plumb your comp on a tank and fire it up.

Carfull though cos a vacuum tank is ribbed as it works in the opposite way to a preasure vesal.

Care to share your plans???

Trust me dude I tried it years ago with strut bags on my carlton estate.

The only way I can think of doing it other than air cylinders is air-draulics.

Two double action rams and two bags per corner and that gets pricey.

How about running a heavy assed cable threw a beefed up strut brace a bit like a rear chian bridge on the front????????
