How do you connect the motors to the t sliders??? i know you need string...but how is the correct way to do it?? :twak:

run fishing line from the motor shaft down through the bottom of the chassis and back up through the t sliders

yea but depends if you have the string going into the gear or out of the gear one is called the knot and I don't know what the other method is called off hand

you need to put a gear on the motor shaft with the string running thru it.

so you drill a small hole in the gear..and thread the string through it and tie it??

i cut little squares of styrene (plastic) and put a hole through the middle. i make the hole just a little bigger than the shaft.... tie a knot on the end of the string and put it through the hole with the knot on the outside away from the motors. slide it on the shaft and superglue the hell outta it and let it sit overnite.

the string wraps around the shaft and the plastic square keeps the string behind it.

ummm..... its a hoppin' hydros 4 motor chassis. not saying what body is on it though (its a secret)
