Swapping the hoods

I got an 87 Monte Carlo LS thats running a big 355 in it, not really a low low more of a drag car setup, want to put my procharger on it, cept I want it to look all stock I dont want a cowl induction hood, wondering if ya would know if a Buick Grand National hood with the small raised center section would fit the car, also got some subs for sale, check in classifieds for sale under subwoofers for sale, it was posted yesterday

the "hump" on the grand natioanl and t-types hood wouldnt really help.the only clearenc it will give is towards the rear,not the center of the motor,it is mostly there for the 84-85 "hot air" motors which have the turbos mounted right inbetween the hood n motor so the hump is there for a little extra insulation....hope that helps :cool: also i think the monte carlo hood is shaped diferently
