i have a great idea...

how about you tell us what kind of damn car it is for starters!!!
didnt think it really mattered bigdamnmacintosh....but itsa 88 Cutty
of course it matters...

sounds to me like a blown fuse though

the taillight portion of the circuit has a seperate fuse than the brakes and turns..

heres a question, do the instrument lights still come on, in most cars, they are tied to the taillight circuit..
aiight I've tried, fuses and redid the wires, still nothing, dont think itsa bulb cuz the brake lights work. But the turn signal lights come on but don't flash! Now what???

replace the flasher under the dash (not the one in the fuse panel but the one up under the dash kinda up by the back of the radio) to fix the turn signal not flashing problem. for the tail lights check the headlight switch.
LOL....no one failed to mention to look for the brake switch that is mounted under the brake pedal.... it sometimes breaks and your lights will either stay on or off...
