if youre really not throwing together a hopper... should i get my driveshaft telescopic? will the stock driveshaft be sufficient enough... im not building redosaurus rex super hopper lol. im running 10s in the back and 6s in the front... for lay and display only.

my bagged 64 locks up as high as the stock shocks allow, and I havent the need for a slip shaft.

if that helps at all...

i was wondering the same thing for my impala, im not going to hop it just to lay and hit some switches here and there...........but then seen what happens when you dont have a telescopic drive shaft! one of my homies was driving down the highway only going about 60mph and then snap.

after that i called up WWW.IEDLS.COM.....check them out jarrett they are pretty cool and you can order online

65 and up have no problems 1 piece driveline. 64 and below have 2 piece drive lines so the fall off car when locked up not just for hoppers.

when you lock a car up in the rear the driveshaft is pushed FOWARD into the tranny!

-thats what happens!!!!!

and that dont make it fall out! it fucks up the tranny, thats what happens...

If you have anything bigger than 8's in the back, you should really look at getting a slip yoke put in your driveshaft..... unless you enjoy replacing carrier bearings and transmissions.

** When I had 8's in the back I had little to no problem.... 14's I needed a slip unit installed .... With my 20's in there now -- I think I need a longer slip unit again... It looks like it pushes up still when i raise it up ...... :(

What up BADASS????????
