okay guys since i've gotten so many responses on this car i took some pics of it. it is almost finished. these pics really dont do it justice at all, it looks really good in person, and pretty realistic. a lot of work went into the front clip. i changed the headlight buckets, reworked the grill, cut the bottom off of it, molded the bottom in, and reworked the flat area below the grill. i still have to create the headlight lenses and finish foiling on the car. also i have to finish the undercarriage. couldnt afford the chroming this time around so ive been foiling my ass off....anyways here's the pics, and let me know what y'all think! ~JO$H~

p.s. did i ever mention this car began as an '86 monte carlo SS aero back??????

yepp they sure do, well... they did back in the day anyways.
the one i have is an old Monogram and the manufacture date on the box is 1986 :puffin: ;)

as for your putty problem, the best stuff to use on models is......
<span style='color:green'>"Squadron Green Putty"
Testors also makes some stuff called "contour putty" both of those is for bodywork on models ;)

yeah, that testors stuff sucks ass as far as i'm concerned. i mentioned that because i think you may be able to get it at walmart and/or micheals.

as for the squadron, thats at hobby shops. but i know your situation with that too from what i read earlier tonite in one of the posts.

i guess if you cant get it anywhere you might have to make buddy buddy with someone thats got the hookup and slide them some cash ;)
damn... ima talk to "bass master" to see if i go with him to the only hobby store cuz he noes where its at they recently moved to another county n shit
