has 14" cyls but i left the stock shocks on it to keep from having driveshaft issues as this was my daily for 6 months or so :cool:

i got me donor car for the frame and suspension parts 96 caprice wagon
i got the caprice on sunday afternoon -oct 28

i got it half ready to pull the body ,there was no engine tranny or front sheetmetal

monday oct 29 -i pulled the interior and all 4 doors as well as got the gas tank pulled everything but the doors went in the trash!

i used a floor jack 2-4"x4"x8' boards and 2 sets of jack stands once the body was raised and support i took the front wheels off and put the floor jack under the front crossmember to lower the height of the frame .i had the stands extended completley and it was just BARLEY enough clearance so i had to deflate the rear tires too

i will clean my cramped work space when i can but for today atleast i will be climbing in ,on and over a mess

thanks guys,ill post updates as it happens i have the whole winter to do this and it will be my first frame wrap ,so if you see something as i can do to make things better please help me out i will be using a set of torches and an arc welder.

IT HOPPED IN THE LOW FORTIES ON A GOOD DAY BUT I CAVED THE CROSSMEMBER IN ATLEAST 5-6" :0 THATS THE REASON FOR THE BUILD UP ;)
