the car Im workin on getting has good paint on it allready, not too fancy just a solid color.

if I wanted to get a mural put on the hood or the trunk would I need the entire car repainted?

what I mean is to do a mural do you need to strip the paint and start over? or can it be done "good" over existing paint?

over the existing paint. just need to clear the trunk once the mural is on. anything is going to be as good as the quality youre working with. messed up paint with bumps = mural with messed up bumps.

OC58- good advice ,dont forget to scuff down the existing clear,
then apply the mural, then clear coat agian.
