I switched carbs from holley to eddlebrock and the bracket for the aceleration cable that came with the eddlebrock dosen't have a slot/hole for a tranny kick down cable. I tried using the old one but it don't fit.

does autozone sell these things or can I modify the one I got?

if your using a 4 speed, its a throttle valve cable, not a kick down cable - very big difference.

I got a shitty one at autozone and its distgusting horrible quality.

ive seen a little kit that has a bunch of diff fitting it in that you cotter pin in the hole and connects to the thrttle cable or kickdown, whatever your hooking up. i cant remember if that stuff comes with the universal thrttle bracket kit or not. you might look at one of those universal throttle bracket kits and see whats in there. should have them at any parts store
