when i shift gears it takes a second or two for the car to move and it's a little jumpy when it finally shifts.... whats wrong? i think its the transmission but anyone know for sure? could it be that the transmission fluid is low? :dunno: let me know if u have any opinions.. other than that the car drives smooth

you could try to move your tranny linkage cable a few notches

 thanks. didn't do anything to it, but it drives smooth again.
if it revs up and kinda clunks when it goes into gear it is going out they call it slipping....i got a good tranny out in a 86 caprice in back yard but im in iowa and too heavy to ship......lol
thanks bro but its fine again. maybe it was cause it was sitting too long and the new transmission fluid wasnt kickin in yet :dunno: but it works fine now
You had your tranny serviced lately? Get a flush......Also, if your tranny is slightly low, it will shift differently!!
