1. depends on the product the how much extension it has. the max pressure is the rating they give it. so if the product says 150psi max or 300psi max it will more than likly be extended fully before the pressure is reached. depends on the product.
2. if you hold the switch open, the air will equel its self out between the tank and cylinder or bag. so if you have 200psi in the tank and hold it, it will level out. it wont be what was in the tank because the volume spread out the pressure throw the extra volume to fill.
3 obay the cylinders max pressure. air tanks we all abuse the max pressure.
4. yes. but most cases it will have already reached its max extisions before this max pressure.
5.maybe...
6.maybe. i would never use something with that low or thresh hold.
7. bottoming it out...
8. some do some dont. i feel the car will lose it after a short time.

understood, but what about all the problems that can arise with the AirStruts?  Being that they are rubber bags...

Question: I can only lower the car about 4", then my skirts smack into the ground.  I know that with Cylinders, you can add spacers between the brackets and the Cylinder to raise the Stopping point at 0psi...    how can I do this with AirStruts seeing as though they are all 1 piece, that all bolts into position?
a correct install and there will not be anything to worrie about. rubber....what else is rubber? and semi trucks used air bags. propper install and no problems go hand in hand.

bump stops are the only way i could think of stopping down travel. call the company and ask
