you probably wont gain shit. with a v8 u have the weight in the front to compress a set of springs, and with the right combonation of componets u can get it work really nice. with the v6 its lighter so then u have to build the setup accordingly.... so with the v8 or v6 u just have to build the setups that will work in the car with what u got. either way if u do it right youre good. if u do it the combonation wrong, even having a 4 cylinder up front wont help you out.... so basically u dont gain anything. its trial and error.
