I have a 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4 door. I am probably going to paint the car candy gold like this caddy here with gold flakes. What color top do you guys think would look good with this paint job?

To me nothing will really match that top good if it was mine the top would get painted candy gold also when it finished it looks pretty good. Maybe a light an color will work what color is your interior?

i'd have to see that car in a sunlit picture..

if the car is dark, put a lighter colored top on..
if its light colored, put a dark colored top on..

to me, thats the best way..
the color of the top should be of a shade of the paint.. NOT exact shade tho.

this is if you decide not to go with a white top.

I like white tops myself and with that color the only thing i think will look good is white or no top at all just painted the same color as the car

how about a WHITE top, with graphic lines and patterns of your cars paint metalflake color? Then clear the top so it wont wear off.

of course, youd have to use that special paint thats flexible..

Hey yall I found some more pics of that caddy. It has a white top with gold veloour. I want to either go with that or all white leather interior. I want my Chevy to be unique among all the one riding around town. Give me a minute and I'll post them.
