I would think plexi rather than glass since it has to withstand the door slamming shut. either way, i want a set of those to replace the carpet crap on my somewhat stock panels

If its plexy glass you can cut it with a jigsaw ,or better still a bandsaw .Stick it with silicone round edges . If you use the silicone behind it ,you will find the silvering tarnishes after a while , wherever the silicone has touched . Here in UK there is a glue ,used like silicone ,called MIRROR MATE which wont tarnish the silvering .Its for sticking glass mirrors to walls in bathrooms etc ,so should easily take the weight of plexy . Hope this helps.
