got me....what kind of wire are u using...some wire have whats called flux in them when ur not using a gas source...it might be some kind of chemical in the wire
what's on the back of the metal? Is it on a car? could be melting something and it is drawn to the heat so it comes out of the weld.
are you welding over rust?
no none of those i am using .023 wire for sheet metal with a c25 gas mix when i hit the trigger the feed contats the metal and doesnt seem to arc to full potential it turns bright orange and just piles up i checked the nob to see if it was broken on the heat settings but its fine im welding new sheet metal so no rust and the gas is on it just doesnt seem to get hot enough i even turned the heat all the way up to see if that worked but nada
id say check the power plug your running off of.
it could be possible that its tied in to alot of other stuff thats feeding power off of that dedicated breaker line that your trying to weld with ?

maby try a diffrent plug - connected to a diffrent breaker ?
your welder might be fucked.
our here at the shop burnt up.. when u try to weld the wire feeds out but doesnt arc.. it tried to arc, but the wire just turn red and balls up..

kind of as if theres not enought heat to melt it.. i even adjusted my settings..

balls up kind of like a lil turd...

YEA SIC IS FAST TO ANSWER SOMEONES QUESTION, JUST COULDN'T DO IT IN SCHOOL...
also try switchin your gun hose out. maybe something in there. also always clean your metal. hit it with a flap wheel before you weld. they put oil on it to prevent from rusting
