what do you think. Would this keep up with mild frame reinforcing and battery rack constructing?? or would i need something stronger?

That welder would work for 3/16" but it would take quite awhile and it'd be hard on the welder... also might have problems with penetration. any bigger than 3/16", it wont work when using gas which you wanna do.
I suggest this welder for alittle over $100 more, its alittle faster and would have better penetration:

thanks for the input bro. the 175 is the welder i really want. problem is im just renting the home im in and there is no 220 in the garage to power the tools i really want

you just pop a 220 breaker in there and leave the wire hanging out the box with an outlet on it. when you move take it with you.

The breaker and outlet are around $10 total but the wire that welder needs is like $4/foot.

There's more than one type of breaker and a lot of different 220 outlets. Try to figure out which ones you need.
