I have a kicker ZR1000 pushing 2 solo baric 12L5, I want to have my trunk space back so I plan to get 3 8" subs and have them wired in series/parallel configuration to the ZR1000. I know going from 12s to 8s is crazy, but I need space back. What are some good 8" subs that I can hook up in 3s to the Kicker ZR1000?

Yeah would rock the Kickers, maybe some CVR's. Are you trying to go across the back deck.

I think using a 12 or 15 in a flat box that the sub protrudes out the back of would work pretty decent, let me see if I can get a picture....

nothing wrong with it..... did it with more then one sub before, any ways as long as nothing pokes through the basket :)

I like the RE 8's alot........

But with that kind of pwoer they are just not going to hold up....

I think a trio of 8A's would be a much better choice for that kind of power.
