Ok for all of the smart people, here is a Vane pump on the inside!! :biggrin:





And inside of a piston pump!! Industrial!




And finally the famous gear pump insides!!

ahhh..

but what about a vane pump with pressure compensation??

tell us all about how the ring will move towards the centerline of the shat, thus reducing flow, which reduces the pressure..

;)

I took many hydraulics classes in College and that was 7 years ago!! :biggrin: I remember the types of pumps and some formulas and that is about it!! But I will admit I don't know it all unlike some on here!! ;)
