i need to know what kind of paint to use i have been thinking of just normal spray paint but will it hold up to hydraulic fluid?

if its a good quality paint and it's prepped correctly, it'll be fine..

I can powder coat them for ya for a good price ;)

i used regular spray paint on my tanks and they looked real good...trick is to clear coat the shitt out of em and polish and wax em before re assembly

thats what i planed to do i just wanted to make sure it would work before i did all the work

Just be sure to use an enamel (oil-based) spray paint. The water-based paints will stain if they get oil on them. In the past 12-13 years, I've pained mine about 8 times so it's definitely not a problem.

ive used laquer base and clear with no problem no staining... i thought enamel would have more problems .. guess not though..lhs is one of the good guys so i trust what he says as well
