can anybody tell me what would make my amp click off when its turned up and the volume turned up, i have a kicker 800.4, on 2 cadence 15 inch woofer, i have to look and get tha model numbers on tha 15's but they r tha orange ons with tha silver dome cones

it's probably going into protection mode, check to make sure that the amp can handle the ohm load your running. not sure on the specs of that amp. say your amp is two ohm stable, that's prolly stereo (if it's a 2 channel) and you wire it up 2ohm mono, crank the volume up a lil' and it'll go into protection mode. CHECK YOUR WIRING!

Too much signal from the head unit and small power wires for a big amp will cut it off. Turn the loudness off from the head unit

what you do is turn the gain from the amp all the way down. Then turn the deck all the way high. From there you can tune your amp so that it wouldn't click off. This will allow you to bump while not burning out your amp.

im not sure if kicker does this or not but my jl's cut off if the voltage gets too low...it can be real annoying if you dont have two batts
