I've been running 245/40s for a few years now and like those quite a bit. I tried 235/40s for a while and I drive my car a little too much for those. And they introduce potholes in NY to my spokes a little too easily. :) I also tried 245/45s for a while and the profile was just a little too tall. There only about 7/16" difference in the two but it was too obvious for me.
