you can do 2 small hoses at the engine that comes off a y block from one long hose from the pump or you can put a y block off the dump to 2 long hoses to the front, with your setup i would do 1 long hose to the front and then y it off to 2 smaller hoses or i would get another dump so i can do side to side. on the hoses using a #6 will be fine. if you dont have 1/2 in ports or fittings i dont see the need for #8's.Originally posted by 83_elco@Dec 14 2008, 01:42 PM~12426982
i have a cce comp. pump with 3/8 port. trying to run with one dump to the front.
thanks for this info will sure help. As far as the dumps, will i get a better hop with one dump than with a two dump set up ?Originally posted by God's Son2@Dec 14 2008, 12:18 PM~12427161

probably one, thats what most people do for single pumps, they have one dump and if its double pump then they only have on dump per pump or one dump for two pumps. i have a single pump with one dump and the way it is plumbed, it has a 90 degrre elbow coming out the pressure to the check valve then to a t fitting, then it goes directly to the hoses. you plump the dump off the other part of the t and then you have your return hose going straight to the return port and of course the slowdown is built in there.Originally posted by 83_elco@Dec 14 2008, 02:33 PM~12427218

I WOULD DO THAT TOO, BUT IF HES TRYING TO SAVE MONEY, ONE HOSE THE FRONT TO 2 SMALL HOSES WILL BE CHEAPEROriginally posted by nyd40cal@Dec 14 2008, 03:10 PM~12427426
I believe the CCE COMP PUMP comes with #9 marz Gear.........with that I would run a 3/8 check valve to Y block in the trunk with 2 #6 hoses to the front.....and min. 48V
i have the two hoses to go to the front, so would that be the best way to go with the y block right off the pump ?Originally posted by God's Son2@Dec 15 2008, 11:42 AM~12434753

It's true. Take a ruler to a #8 jic you'll see it's only got a 3/8" opening.Originally posted by CANNONBALL Z@Dec 16 2008, 09:47 AM~12444067
