i cant really decide what rims to get for my 79 mark v. i have a set of 13x7s with 155/80s. looks real good, but freeway riding isnt fun, you cant balance them, and ive had a few too close encounters because of other drivers:angry: , so the originals went back on .
im thinking of getting some 17s with vouges, or 18s to 20s with blackwalls. i had 18s on the car and they still looked small in the fenders so im in favor of 20s but the tires are like 180 each which isnt good with the way i drive.
does anyone have anypics of a car like mine with those rims?
well with mine anywhere about 40mph the car shakes so bad that the passenger seat moves around. maybe ive got a bent rim? damn thats a nice lincoln, maybe ill just get some 14s for it.
Go with 14's, Are you runnin juice? If not you might get asked to the switches by people. Thats a nice ride. Most 14" tires range from $30.00 to $50.00 each, alot cheaper than dub tires. Go with like a 185/70/14, this size should not fuck your speed off. I'm runnin 175/70/14 on my 72 Caprice, its just a bit lower profile, but still whitewall. Don't go with 17's or 18's, thats a good size on a euro, not a land boat like yours. keep it og man!

i just put the 13s back on today after priming the car & everything. i have bags in the car (no jokes please) i work for a place that does airbags so i get hooked up. once i get it all dual ported its gonna be crazy. i think im gonna get some 14s so i can keep some cusion on there and not ride rubber bands.
