I have a Kewood eXceleon CD player and also a Tape player with CD controls. We plugged them into the car, but no sound comes out. The faces lights up, respond to the controls, and we know for a fact that the car speakers work, as the radio used to come on in short bursts. What gives, please don't give me smart ass answers, if you think you know whats up, please tell me.

The internal amplifier could be blown. I come across that shit all the time. Do the rca'(pre-amp outs) work still.

definetlely the end line mosfests in the output (last) stage of the internal amp. The kenwoods are known for excessive heat, and these mosfets are sensitive to heat. It just happens sometimes. But best bet is try rca's or send it back if its still under warranty.
