im getting a 81 gmc truck...im getting some 15x8 deep dish reverse rims...but, which tires would look better on the wheels

195-50-15
or
205-50-15

i've never delt with a tire wider than a 185...and it was a on 14x7 wheel, please let me know if you have any serious and/or helpful info...peace!!!

I'd go with the 205's...it's not that much bigger than the 195's but I'm assuming that this 81 is gonna have some muscle. Might as well have some reliable rubber for the pavement... ;)

The other thing to remember is that trucks have big wheel openings. They look funny with a car-sized tire...

THIS IS LOWRIDING AND 195 50 15 WAS THE COMBO BACK WHEN 15'S WERE THE BIGGEST SIZE FOR A VEHICLE.

That's true...but it didn't sound like the guy intended on building a traditional old school lowrider :)

:dunno: if he going traditional...why's he talkin about 15's without whitewalls?? dont get me wrong 205's would look okay but take it from someone who was there....go 195......on 15x10's they used to stretch a 205 on them...then 17x9 rev came out in 94-95 and every burban had that setup. that size might as well have been 27's!! that shit was the ultimate!!!!

i just want a clean looking truck...and the 15's are only 8" wide rims...so a 195 would be easiere to get on...i think!!!
any ''lowrider friendly'' shop can put the 195's on a 15/8 reverse. no problem
