I've never built a model before but I really want to start, so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for any type of model to start off with. Are there any types that would be easier or better to try first?
I always recommed the AMT/Ertl 64 Impala, it's a nice kit, but basic. no frame detail all one piece, real easy to build or even the re-released 70 impala kit.
Those old AMT kits with the one peice chassis/suspensions are a good place to start. The Revell snap 96 Impala and 63 Impala are good models for being snap kits, plenty of detail and easy to put together
