I have been trying to get quotes from some suppliers to ship parts for me to the UK and have had NOTHING in the way of replies/quotes yet :angry: :angry: :angry:

I was talking to someone (here in the UK) at a hot rod meeting last night who imports custom cars, bikes and parts from California (Orange County) who told me that I'd probably get laughed at if I tried to get a quote for shipping direct to me :angry: :angry: :angry: . Maybe this is why no one has bothered replying - except Team Pneumatik (thanks Team Pneumatik if any of you visit this forum).

Anyway, this person has good contacts for shipping and it looks as if I can get parts shipped to his shippers in California, then he will deal with getting the parts to me in the UK.

So here's the question:

Who would you recommend in the USA for price and service on air suspension parts - preferably California, unless the location doesn't make shipping to Orange County difficult?

Thanks very much if you can help. I really can't afford to make a bad choice and get ripped off, due to my location.

I'm going to get some of the stuff in the UK and some from the USA, so once I know what I can get from where I'll be shopping around for prices.

dont forget that if you import goods.

you will have to pay 7% import duty on goods & shipping.
then 17.5% vat on that total ( all will have to be paid to shipping agent or whoever clears goods through customs?)..

Yes, unfortunately I know about duties & VAT :angry: !

I can get the VAT back, so that won't be a problem :cheesy: .
