i got those aluminum prohopper blocks and i need em to shine! what process should i use?? hmmm. i was thinkin like 400 wet sand ...then 600 wetsand then 1000 wetsand finally 1500wet and use a polishing compound like mothers.. u think this would do it

If they are smooth then you don't have to use the coarse sp? sand paper. I would just use 600 then wetsand with 1500. Then you can use your compound. Lately I have been using never dull by Eagle one and all my stuff comes out like chrome.

Basically, if it has a ruff texture then I would start with around 300 grit and work my way up to 1500 or 2000. Then use some kind of polish. If the texture is smooth then I just use the fine grit and polish.
