what is the difference between accurates and the ones they sell at auto-zone and are the accurates really that much better i have used them before but never in a hopper i have 6 in my homeboys t-bird and i have used 4 of the ones they sell at auto-zone on a regal hopper with 8 batteries and the first hit they went to shit  so if i use accurates i can run 4 of those and no problems :dunno:Originally posted by LAC'N_NOTHING@Aug 15 2005, 08:27 PM~3630301

we run accurate soleniods.we use to run prestolite blocks but recently the've been shitty.as far as gears been using #11 for a few years.Originally posted by dough916@Aug 15 2005, 05:12 PM~3628920
thanks for the response. what kind of soleniod you runnin? i usally get what ever kragen has with a 2 year warrenty ( i haven't paid for one in years, lol)
i was talkin to the fork lift tech at work today and he has a 36v all metal (no plasitc china crap) looks just like a starter soleniod he says he wil hook me up with for $25 a pop, i think i will get a few and see what happens, bbuutt then i will have to runn my switches at at least 36V to operate them.
everybody keep the responses coming, thanks

120 volts, 3 old style accurate solenoids, presolite old school motor. works for me!
had them running 96 voltz for a couple months now on my front pump ( running 4 noids) and haven't had any problems , still got the same motor and pumphead too,,, once you learn to hit the switch right everything last alot longerOriginally posted by dough916@Aug 13 2005, 08:40 PM~3612596

do you guys think i should use 3 or 4 noids at 72 volts?
how many noidsOriginally posted by ONE8SEVEN@Aug 17 2005, 07:23 PM~3645225
im running 96v all day
and monty c, thats a nice video, has some nice cars in it. i would like to see more of your car, looks clean. what i am saying is me-and everybody i know-- have never been able to run more than 6 batteries with only 3 seliniods, but then again most of us have been runnig what ever the auto parts store has in stock. i think its pretty amazing that you are able to run 10 batteries straight- on only 3. i am gonna get on the prohopper web site right now and order me a few accurates. :biggrin:Originally posted by Montey C@Aug 15 2005, 06:30 PM~3629431
I wouldn't post that up if it weren't true. I have to orange monte carlo. Watch this video and listen to the pump when I miss.. That ain't no 72 volts! I broke a bolt to my front cup, so i had to stop.
my car
guess i will do the same :biggrin:Originally posted by dough916@Aug 18 2005, 09:57 AM~3650548
