Whos got good cylinders?

1329 Views 19 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  SiK RyDa
well I started with a pair of 8" showtimes, the the yellow ones. They bent at the bottom part of the shaft for some odd reason after about 2 months.

I swapped those and tried outsome CCE's. Now one of those has blown at the top, not the fitting but at the top casing somehow.

So what should I try next?? Blvd? I called them and they said 85 plus shipping. I hate waiting a week to get parts and 2 day air from Cali is crazy.. I'm in Virginia.

anyone got any ideas??

I'm runnin 4 pumps and 10 batts.

Boulevard's Cylinders are very nice, better than the rest of the cylinders being produced right now.

They have gone the extra mile to do some extra work on the top where the fitting goes, instead of just being welded or just being threaded, they are both.

What does anyone think about the Hi-Low Eliminator cylinders for comp. as compared to everyone else's on the market????
CCE CYLINDERS SUCK BALLSSSSSSS NEVER USE CCE NOTHING.............. SHOWTIME ALL THE WAY.. I USED CCE ON MY LINCOLIN AND I REPLACED THEM 4 TIMES IN 1 SUMMER...
PM ME I CAN GET U A GOOD DEAL ON SHOWTIME U JUST HAD A FLOOK..
your last cylinders bent because you have a missallighnment problem the cylinder is probably not moundet correctly.. unless you fix that , any set of cylinders you buy will do the same..

Its not out of alighnment. These CCE's arnt bent. I couldnt figure out why the cylinders bent. Everything Is lined up fine.

I figured it was the 4 pumps and 10 batts that bent em. Marzoochi pump heads are powerful with # 8 lines.
showtimes got some kissass next day air prices i dont like to wait week or so for my shit either

Sorry, but CCE cylinders suck ass. I personally have bent them on a perfectly aligned setup, and know many other people who have also. Replaced em with ProHoppers, and no more problems at all. I have been told though that the new CCE super stroker cylinders are supposed to be better, but never tried em.

Never used Boulevard, but havent heard anything bad about them either. I say buy a set and tell us how they hold up

I think I'm gonna try the boulevards. I called the other day and spoke to a chick and she was real cool. I told her that to many places rip u off on shipping. Such as CCE and Showtime have done to me. 25 bucks to ship cylinders is ridiculous. She said she would even give me a price break if I bought more shit.

I'm lookin forward to doin bussiness with them and trying their parts out.
