man i hope that if ur serious about them fork u better stain the FUCK out of them i don't think i have seen that before.

no i just did it for the fun of it, tryed somthing different.

paint them black and they might look better

there is varnish on it but i didnt like how it turned out so im gonna probably put some kind of different varnish or i could even put stain on them :dunno:

Looks ok though, doen't really flow with the frame though, deff. get it stained man.

nice thinkin,would be cool and alot stronger if some austrailian red pine or american oak was sculpted into a fork,theres woods out there that are almost stronger than the steel tube forks.
ive done alot of wood and steel sculpting and ive run into woods that are way harder to sand and file than a steel or alloy tube.
you could be onto somethin there but its alot more work and it probly more exspensive to use the bestest strongest wood.
